Religious Exemption hearing on Monday; live audio stream Sally F, October 22, 2023October 22, 2023 A landmark hearing for religious exemption case will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 2:30 p.m in New Haven, CT. Milford Christian Academy challenged the state last spring, which attempted to force compliance against deeply held religious beliefs; a minor victory was declared when the state admitted it did not have the power to enforce compliance. The Academy will hold a “Protest and Prayer” before the hearing. The hearing is attracting attention on the church/state relationship. Quinnipiac and Yale are said to be sending “whole classes of law students” to observe. Immediately following the hearing (approx 3:30 p.m.), there will be a press conference on the front steps of the federal courthouse—-141 Church St, New Haven, CT. The CTL Tribune will stream a live audio feed of the press conference on Telegram tomorrow afternoon. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
