The Tribune editor makes a few observations….reply is either pending or there’s just no rebuttal to biology.
“[Name withheld], who said I’m afraid ?? I know trans people in fact — and I do not seek their harm.
Being convinced of a false reality IS mental illness; it does NOT mean no compassion. In repenting of past, horrible treatments — we do not swing over to Zero Gravity, where NOTHING exists but a wild west of human thoughts and feelings.
Trans is a myth, because one cannot BE someone they are not — no matter how MUCH they may desire it. DNA confirms this.
Do I feel for people who struggle? Yes!! I truly can’t imagine how difficult that is; and to push that kind of difficulty on children, is beyond tragic.
Childrens minds are not wired to handle adult issues; if we were insects, where in some cases mating must occur within days of hatching, then sex talk in school might be tolerated. Ask the flies about it lol.
The fact we humans must wait 12-15 yrs or so to think on sex (normally speaking) is a pesky biological fact involving something called puberty, not porn.
Another thought I have is that here we are “saving the planet” while conveniently tossing out its created order — thinking we can somehow “improve” upon it. The irony can’t get any clearer.”
Once again, an amazing piece. When talking about climate change, Rush used to say it is folly for radical environmentalists to think they can change the environment. I miss Rush a lot, but your columns come close.
