Connecticut attorney Paul Ganim is suing a long-time family business over failed boat starters. In the court case, Ganim blames owner Scott Brigham and his wife Lori for having to replace the starters multiple times, which caused “a loss” of vacation time. He also cites a failure to fulfill contract obligations, and that the starter motors were from China, without his, nor his mechanic’s knowledge.

Scott Brigham was not available for comment, but a family friend insists that The Clark Son company, which has operated for over 100 years, is being bullied. Jennifer Damon says of Scott and Lori, “They’re the nicest people.” Damon claims Ganim’s mechanic, Joe Rosenkrantz, is at fault for neglecting to communicate with the Brighams in a timely manner.
