On December 18th, a public information meeting was held on the state of Connecticut’s proposed actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP).
The December 18 public meeting provided an overview of the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant , which is funding the PCAP development, as well as the 14 proposed actions the state may implement to reduce air pollution, and provide incentives to communities, such as reduced energy bills and more jobs.

A Request for Public Comments on the above greenhouse gas reduction actions is now open. The survey for participants — comment on how the actions will benefit communities in Connecticut as well as any potential negative impacts and/or potential barriers to these actions and how the state may address them.
The survey also provides an opportunity for general public comment on the Priority Climate Action Plan, and it will close at 11:59 pm on January 12, 2024.
