The Power of One Vote, and the Spirit of America

As Registrar of Voters, we have had the privilege of witnessing countless individuals cast their ballots, each experience a reminder of the fundamental rights we hold dear in this country. But today, we want to share a story that renewed our faith in the power of democracy and the importance of every single vote. It’s the story of Georgios, a new American citizen, who just exercised his right to vote for the very first time.

Georgios came to this country years ago with dreams of a better life. Like many, he worked hard, contributed to his community, and patiently navigated the complex journey toward citizenship.
