Email debate, shutting down a board member, and hiding a drug rehab clinic
Dave, When are you going to stop blind copying … your like minded associates when you send out these emails? Are you trying to protect them by hiding the full list of recipients? Thanks for the suggestion on a town meeting since the last one went so well for so many members of our community.

Matt, I always try to remember to blind copy to avoid any retaliation against any of the people I blind copied. I hope you understand.
About the last town meeting. Why did you allow comments to be cut off and a voice vote rather than a paper ballot? Also, the results would have been quite different if the original meeting had not been cancelled by you due to overcapacity as other town meetings have been cancelled in the past. I do think the prospective loss of $7 million is reason enough to hold a town meeting and I encourage you to call for one.
Respectfully, Dave Holman
Later on Friday—
Dave,
Please lose the pretense on your remembrance and share your true intention about full disclosure which, in the past, has been something you have asked for or demanded from those in official capacities. Please provide examples of any retaliation to those you purport to protect or shield from sharing their beliefs. Why would someone be afraid of their positions on any issue? Anonymous participation in a democratic arena is cowardice.
Don’t delude yourself about the outcome of the town meeting. You have never been able mobilize more then 125 or so at a budget meeting. There were over 900 in the room who literally booed you off the floor for a variety of reasons including that you would not adhere to the rules of a legal assembly.
Do some research on what the true at-risk funding really is. The partisan article you shared use generalities that may not represent the true funding risk. … I am surprised that you’d support the current federal agenda which is at odds with the fundamental Christian values that have dominated the founding and guiding principles of our beloved country and are probably at odds with your experiences at NDHS.
I fully realize that you may elect to share this with others than are directly copied but please encourage those who fear retaliation to engage because that fear is unfounded and their engagement is welcomed.
Matt

Dear Matt, It is you who opened the door for me to reply to your below email, and it looks like my reply hit a nerve. One only needs to watch past videos of town and board and commission meetings (including the BOF meeting on April 21st), as well as the You Tube video “Ignored and Disrespected” to verify what I said.
As further evidence of the DEI indoctrination taking place in our Guilford School District, and which now has apparently been accepted and mainstreamed in our entire Guilford Town Government, please click on the following link and watch the video “Just the Facts: Parental Rights”. I also refer … the website www.greatereducationcouncilofct.org, click on videos, watch the interview we did with Dr. Armand Fusco (the 11th video down) regarding the Guilford School District.
… and the attached letter we sent to the Guilford [BoE] on 9/6/23 (and subsequently mailed to them by registered mail), which they never acknowledged receiving, never responded to, and never refuted. … So, thank you for the opportunity to respond to your email and to share this information with the members of the Guilford Board of Finance who may or may not be familiar with any of this information.
Respectfully, Dave Holman
Unwilling to engage? Hoey shut down Finance Board member Jonathan Trotta
‘Word has gotten out’
Hoey conversed via email with APT’s CEO Lynn Madden in later 2023, writing, “Word has gotten out about your purchase and plans.”
Multiple emails were exchanged, as plans for Hoey’s clinic excluded public input, and environmental, business, and residential impact studies.
